Week 1: Introduction to Part 2

Week 2: Temple and Synagogue
​​
Discusses details of the temple at the time of Moses to Solomon. Proves that it is the designated place of worship. Examines Solomon’s temple, Zerubbabel’s temple, and Herod’s temple. This chapter illustrates the plan of Herod’s temple including the holy place, the court of priests with the laver and the altar of sacrifice and other important items. The synagogue is discussed in detail revealing its purpose, uses and offices.

Week 3: The Jewish Feasts
​​
This chapter introduces the Jewish celebrations during the course of 1 year. There are 6 important Old Testament feasts which consist of 3 great feasts and 3 lesser feasts. The feasts tell us about the relationship God had with His people. They also reveal the purpose of the Passover, Pentecost & Tabernacle. The 3 lesser feasts include Feast of Trumpet, Feast of Dedication & Purim.

Week 4: New Testament Lands
​​
Most of Jesus’ earthly life was spent in Palestine. This lecture illustrates the boundaries and territories. We are given details about the Mediterranean coast. The 3 territories on the eastern side of Jordan are Perea, the Decapolis & the tetrarchy of Philip. The 3 territories west of the Jordan including Galilee, Samaria and Judea. The chapter brings us to important cities including Jerusalem, Bethany, and Jericho. We are also given details about Nazareth, Cana and Capernaum. Finally, it also discusses Bethsaida, Caesarea Phillippi and Gergesa. Finally, we are led into the first years of the Church and the journey of Paul.

Week 5: The Christ in Prophecy
​​
Discusses how scholars have identified hundreds of prophecies in the Old Testament regarding Jesus. We are introduced to types, obscure & plain statements. The chapter moves into the specifics of the writers and times of the prophecies. We are told why certain prophecies were misunderstood. Illustrates specific examples of prophecy including the garden of Eden, the ultimate king, a prophet like Moses and more.

Week 6: The life of Christ (Part 1)
​​
Briefly discuss the 3 periods of New Testament History and introduces the 7 periods of the earthly life of Jesus Christ which include, period of obscurity, period of popularity, period of opposition, period of persecution; Passion Week and the resurrection appearances. Chapter covers the first two periods in detail including 30 years of Youth (Period of Preparation and the First Year of Ministry (Period of Obscurity).

Week 7: The life of Christ (Part 2)
​​
A brief overview of the first 2 periods of Jesus’ life including the 5 events in each. Also a detailed overview of the Second Year of Ministry, period of popularity and the Third Year of Ministry; period of opposition. Also includes the 5 key events in each.

​​
A brief overview of the first 4 periods of Jesus’ life, including the 5 events in each; also a detailed overview of the Last 3 Months, period of persecution and the Last Week; the passion week. Also includes the 5 key events in each.
